Muhammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage (MAMO) College is a First Grade Government Aided College of Arts, Science and Commerce, affiliated to the University of Calicut. The College is a Muslim Minority Educational Institution approved by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Government of India and it comes under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. The College is reaccredited by NAAC with “A" Grade. The College was established in 1982, as a Junior College, offering only Pre-degree programmes. The College was upgraded as a Degree College in 1991 and as a First Grade College in 2002. The College is situated at Mukkam, 30 Km from Kozhikode, on a lush green landscape. The College currently offers 11 UG and 6 PG programmes.
